WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss in the conference opener at LA Pierce College on Tuesday afternoon. | BOX SCORE
The Brahmas (6-2-1, 1-0-0) netted the eventual game-winner in the 17th minute after a successful penalty kick attempt before doubling the deficit for Hancock (6-3, 0-1-0) with a late goal in the 85th minute.
Offensively, the Bulldogs were led by Cynthia Ramirez and Kaihla Lopez after each athlete placed two shot attempts on target. Zorah Coulibaly, Estrella Guzman, and Leslie Ramirez notched one try on goal apiece.
Sam Patchin and Maya Mendek split time in the box for the Bulldogs. Each keeper secured one save and allowed one goal through 45 minutes of action.
