Women's Soccer: Bulldogs Blank Cuesta in 5-0 Shutout, Now Ranked 17th in National Poll

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College women's soccer team blanked Cuesta College, 5-0, during a road trip on Tuesday afternoon. | BOX SCORE
After a scoreless opening through the first 20 minutes of action, the Bulldogs (12-3-1, 6-1-1) caught fire after rattling off three goals across a six-minute timespan. Estrella Guzman notched the first in the 20th, followed by a goal from Zorah Coulibaly in the 22nd and another from Cynthia Ramirez in the 26th. Kaihla Lopez netted her first goal of the game in the 39th before adding a second in the 72nd.
Coulibaly notched an assist on both the first and the last goal of the day while Lopez and Belinda Hernandez each registered one helper apiece. Maya Mendek picked up the win in the box after securing two saves through 90 minutes.
The Bulldogs are also now ranked 17th in the latest national poll, announced by the United Soccer Coaches Association on Tuesday. The poll rankings cover all CCCAA and NJCAA Division III women's soccer programs.
Hancock will continue conference play on Friday, October 27th, on the road against Santa Barbara City College at 7 PM.
