Women's Soccer: Cynthia Ramirez Named to 3C2A All-State and All-Region Teams

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - After a stellar sophomore campaign with the Allan Hancock College women's soccer program, Cynthia Ramirez has set another standard for the program after receiving a pair of state-level superlative awards. The sophomore from Arroyo Grande was selected as an All-State and All-Region (South) honoree, both awards being the first of their kind on record in the history of the program.

Ramirez finished the season with a final total of 31 goals, including three game-winners, and 15 assists en route to a final tally of 77 points. She was also honored as the Western State Conference (North) Offensive Player of the Year after helping the Bulldogs clinch their second consecutive - and first outright - league title.

Hancock closed the season with an overall record of 15-4-3 after making their second consecutive playoff appearance and finished at the top of the league standings with an 8-1-3 mark against league foes.
