OXNARD, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College women's soccer team picked up another Western State Conference (North) win after benefitting from a 1-0 decision at Oxnard College on Friday afternoon. | BOX SCORE
The win moves the Bulldogs to a 5-13 record on the season and a 2-7 mark against league foes. Oxnard falls to 4-7-4 with the loss and now holds a 2-5-1 record in conference play.
Raquel Schmid converted a pass from Janeth Davalos for the lone goal of the game in the 20th minute, securing both her third goal of the season and the first game-winner of her collegiate career. The Santa Maria native finished the game with four total shot attempts and saw all tries land on-goal. Allie Lemmon picked up the win in the box for Hancock with six saves through 90 minutes of action.
The Bulldogs will continue league action by hosting Ventura College on November 5th at the AHC Soccer Field, beginning at 3 PM.
