Hancock in 8th After Day One of Cuesta Invitational
The Allan Hancock College women's swim team sits in eighth place out of 15 teams after day one of the 36th annual Cuesta Invitational that wrapped up on Friday. The two-day meet ends on Saturday with ten more events.
The Bulldogs earned 64 total points. Santa Rosa leads with 286 points, followed by Sierra College with 236 and the host Cougars with 165. Bakersfield sits in fourth with 127 points and San Joaquin Delta College is fifth with 90 points.
Freshman Leanna Bramble finished third in the 100 yard butterfly for Hancock's highest placing on the day. She was clocked in 1:02.65 and just under two seconds behind the winner.
