Bio

Kenna Wolter enters her fifth season at the helm of the men's and women's track & field programs in 2024.

She rejoined the Bulldog family in 2018 as an assistant coach and part-time instructor prior to taking the reigns. Before returning to Hancock, she spent two seasons working with jumpers as a graduate assistant coach at the University of South Dakota, where she enjoyed a successful collegiate career in the women’s triple jump. She still holds the USD indoor triple jump record with a mark of 41 feet, 9.25 inches, and ranks fifth in the indoor long jump at 19-0.5. She won six conference titles and advanced to two NCAA Preliminary Rounds in her three years with the Coyotes. Wolter finished second at the USATF Indoor National Championships in 2015.

The Righetti High School graduate earned a bachelor’s degree in recreation and a master’s degree in kinesiology and sports science from the University of South Dakota.
