Bio

Rodriguez is a Cabrillo High School graduate where she competed in track and field. She earned several recognitions throughout high school: Legion of Academic Merit, x4 Scholar-Athlete, x3 Coach’s Award, x2 Team Most Valuable Player, Sprints Most Valuable Player, and Jumps Most Valuable Player. Her major at Hancock is Kinesiology because she hopes to become a physical therapist. Rodriguez’s favorite memory was jumping 31 feet in the triple jump her first time after only two weeks of practice and no coaching. An interesting fact about Stephanie is that her brother also competed in track and made it to state. Rodriguez herself made it to CIF Prelims as a sophomore in the pole vault and CIF Finals junior and senior year.
