Bulldogs Compete at Oxnard Cross Country Invitational

OXNARD, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's and women's cross country programs continued action at the Oxnard Cross Country Invitational on Friday afternoon. | COMPLETE RESULTS

On the men's side, Luis Diaz led the pack of six AHC racers with a 23rd place finish after clocking a 5:28 time in the four-mile run. Other Bulldogs crossing the finish line were Orlando Marin (53rd | 5:55), Efrain Santos (62nd | 6:09), Jose Cardenas (67th | 6:16), Samuel Santos (85th | 7:03), and Armando Guzman (87th | 7:22). 

On the women's side, Sierra Skinner led the way with a final time of 7:18 en route to a 31st place finish. Skinner was followed by teammates Yasmin Mendez (43rd | 8:06) and Nicki Lucero (46th | 8:15).

The men's team placed fourth in the field of four scored programs at the event with a score of 130. The women's team did not qualify for team placement. 

Hancock will continue the racing season on Friday, September 17th, as participants in the SoCal Preview. The event is scheduled to take place at Irvine Park.
