Cross Country Announces Fall Schedule
SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College cross country programs will return to competition by fielding both a men's and women's team during the 2024 slate. Steven Youngblood and Kenna Wolter, who picked up the WSC Coach of the Year and Assistant Coach of the Year titles last year, will reunite as a dynamic coaching duo again this fall. | FULL SCHEDULE
The women's program will return to action after one of the most successful showings in more than three decades. Last season, the Bulldogs finished in sixth place at the 3C2A State Championship and second at the conference finals while seeing two individuals earn All-State recognition. The men's program is anticipated to return with a squad that is more than double that of last season and will showcase a number of key newcomers and several returnees.
The season is set to open on August 23rd at the Tour de Cuesta event and will come to a close in November at the 3C2A State Championship, hosted at Woodward Park in Fresno, in November.
