Hancock Baseball tied for first place in the Western State Conference

With only three games left in the regular season, the Allan Hancock College baseball team has moved into a tie with Oxnard College for first place in the Western State Conference. The Bulldog’s 7-6 win against Santa Barbara City College on Saturday, April 24, was the team’s seventh win a row and improved their record to 13-4 in conference and 21-11 overall. Oxnard College is currently 13-4 in conference and 23-10 overall.

The Bulldogs are on the road against Santa Barbara on Tuesday, April 27, before returning for their last home game of the season against Oxnard on Thursday, April 29, at 2:30 p.m.

“We’re excited to be in this position,” said Hancock head coach Chris Stevens. “It’s good for the conference to take it down to the wire like this.”

The Bulldogs are scheduled to play their last game of the regular season at Oxnard College on Friday, April 30.
