Hancock Baseball Begins Conference Play

    The Bulldogs play their first conference game of the 2012 season against Ventura College on Tuesday, March 6 at Ventura. The team is 3-10 overall headed into the contest. Hancock split two games with College of the Canyons during the last wee of pre-season play, beating Canyons 7-5 on Feb. 28 and losing 3-6 on March 1. 

    In the team's win over Canyons Andrew Clark (Santa Maria) had two runs and one hit in three at-bats and Daniel Mallory (Lompoc) had 2 runs and 2 hits in four at-bats. Scott Borsum (Reno High School) pitched the win and Codey Shrider (St. Francis) got the save.  Clark had one hit, one run and one RBI in the team's loss on the road on March. 

    Hancock plays at home on Thursday, March 8 at 2:30 p.m. against Santa Barbara City College.
