Baez Tabbed as Northern Santa Barbara County Male Athlete of the Week

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Allan Hancock College baseball pitcher, Isaac Baez, was recognized as the Northern Santa Barbara County Male Athlete of the Week on Monday afternoon.

Baez had a standout performance for the Bulldogs on Tuesday afternoon at Taft College. He tossed a one-hitter through five innings against the Cougars and did not factor into the final decision. Baez has appeared in two games thus far, earning one start and registering one save. He currently holds a 0.00 ERA through eight innings on the bump and has struck out 10 batters in the early season. 

Baez and the Bulldogs are scheduled to return to action at home on Tuesday, February 8th, against Rio Hondo College. First pitch for the contest is set for 2 PM on John Osborne Field.
