Baseball's Parker Haskell Inks with Westcliff

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Allan Hancock College Baseball's first baseman, Parker Haskell, has committed to continuing his academic and athletic career at Westcliff University next season.

"Westcliff gave me a phenomenal opportunity to play closer to home after being away for a while and the coaches embraced me with open arms," shared Haskell. "I really believe that this new chapter will be full of amazing opportunities."

The El Dorado High School alum is midway through his second season with the Bulldogs. Haskell currently leads the squad with seven homers on the season after 23 hits. He has also registered 22 RBIs, 15 runs, and two doubles while being walked 22 times thus far. Last season, Haskell posted a .419 batting while notching 13 RBIs on as many hits during the shortened season.

"My time here at Allan Hancock has really helped to put me in a mindset for success and build my confidence," added Haskell.

Westcliff, located in Irvine, is a member of the NAIA and competes in the California Pacific Conference.
