Baseball Picks Up No. 18 Seed in SoCal Regional Tournament

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College baseball team will appear in the Southern California Regional Tournament for the second consecutive season after picking up the 18th seed in the bracket. This is the third playoff appearance for the program since 2014. | FULL BRACKET

The Bulldogs earned their way into the playoffs after a third place finish in the Western State Conference (North) with a final record of 15-9 against league foes and an overall record of 22-18. They will travel to face No. 7 Mt. San Antonio College, the runner-up in the South Coast Conference, in Walnut for round one of regional action. The Mounties closed out the regular season with a 16-8 mark in conference play and an overall record of 27-13.

Opening round games are set to take place on Friday (May 3rd) at 2:00 pm and Saturday (May 4th) at 2:00 pm with an "if necessary" game to follow on Saturday evening if the series is split after the first two games. The winner of the regional series will advance to the SoCal Super Regionals for double elimination action on May 9-11.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the gate. Ticket prices are $12 for adults (13 to 59 years of age) and $8 for students/faculty/staff/seniors (60 years and older) with ID.
