Bio

Swack begins his fifth season as a Bulldog assistant coach. The Santa Maria native works with infielders and his ultimate is goal is helping players move on to four-year universities.

Swack was a two-time All-Western State Conference shortstop at Hancock. He hit .314 with 33 runs and 19 RBI in 2001. He transferred to Virginia Commonwealth University, a Division I program. He started at shortstop for two years, including in 2003 when VCU was ranked on the Top 25, won the Colonial Athletics Association title and qualified for the NCAA Division I Regionals. He went on to graduate from VCU with a bachelor's degree in sprots management.

Swack played baseball at Righetti High School for Chris Stevens, the current Hancock head coach. He was a member of the 1999 Righetti squad that played for the CIF championship in Angels Stadium.

He owns Swack's Pizza & Wings Restaurant in Shell Beach.
