Bulldogs Beat Moorpark 44-17

 Allan Hancock College football is now 3-0 after a 44-17 win against Moorpark College.

 The Raiders were the first on the scoreboard, hitting a 65-yard touchdown pass just minutes into the first quarter. The Bulldogs didn't let them keep the lead for long and quarterback Brandon Jeffries handed the ball to Cameron Artis-Payne for a 60-yard touchdown run less than a minute after the Raider's scored. Jared Miller kicked a 36-yard field goal and at the end of the first quarter the score was 10-7.

 Hancock scored another touchdown at the top of the second to bring the score to 17-7. Moorpark them took the ball to within five yards of scoring and then fumbled the ball. Sophomore Cody Berry recovered the fumble, effectively ending the Raider's hope of taking the score to 14-17 in the second. The Bulldogs quickly scored on a 31-yard touchdown pass caught by Shane Henderson and a 30-yard run by Bobby Collins. Moorpark had a field goal and touchdown of their own and at the end of the first half the score was 31-10.

 Moorpark opened the third quarter with a touchdown but it was their last of the night. Collins scored on a three yard run and the score became 38-17. The Raiders came close to another touchdown in the fourth but were intercepted in the end zone by Hancock's Aaron Ley. Michael Hale scored the last touchdown of the night with four minutes left in the game for a final score of 44-17.

 Artis-Payne led the Bulldogs in rushing with 148 and two touchdowns. Henderson caught eight passes for a total of 155 yards.
