Cecchi was named to the All-Conference Second Team Offense as an all-purpose player in 2016 for Hancock. The Arroyo Grande High School graduate led the Bulldogs with 995 all-purpose yards, including 302 rushing yards; 284 receiving yards; 116 punt return yards; and 253 yards on kickoff returns. During his first game at running back, he rushed for 133 yards on just 14 carries and scored three touchdowns against L.A. Pierce. He scored six total touchdowns as a freshman. Cecchi was named the PAC-5 League's Co-Most Valuable Player his senior season at Arroyo Grande High School. He is a recreation management major.
