Allan Hancock Football Hosts Youth Football Day

Catch the excitement of Bulldog Bound and Bulldog Nation!

Allan Hancock College Football is hosting Youth Football Day on Saturday, October 5 as the Bulldogs take on Citrus College at 2 p.m. at the Allan Hancock football field in Santa Maria.

The first 50 children at the event will receive a FREE set of Bulldog Bound earbuds! Kids wearing youth football jerseys or Bulldog Bound lanyards can get into the game for FREE! Adults accompanying children can get in for $4.

Youth Football Day is one of several events held as part of Hancock's Bulldog Bound program. Bulldog Bound is the first step on the path to the Hancock Promise, which provides the first year of college at Hancock free of tuition and fees for local high school students.

Bulldog Bound focuses on creating a college-going culture among fifth- through eighth- grade students and their families. The program introduces these students to Hancock, the campus and the programs and services available to them through early outreach events. Participating students will be ready to take the pledge to be Bulldog Bound!

The Hancock Promise aims to place higher education within everyone's reach. The Hancock Promise removes financial barriers and creates pathways to increase college readiness, access, affordability and success for all students in the Allan Hancock Joint Community College District.
