Colton Theaker Named as Northern Santa Barbara County Male Athlete of the Week

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Allan Hancock College football kicker, Colton Theaker, was recognized as the Northern Santa Barbara County Male Athlete of the Week on Monday afternoon.

Theaker had a standout performance for the Bulldogs in their first road test of the season on Saturday. He registered the game-winning field goal for the second week in a row after sending a 33-yard shot through the uprights to clinch the victory over San Bernardino Valley College with two seconds remaining. Theaker finished the game with 385 kick-off yards, 162 punting yards, was 4-for-4 on PAT's, and was 1-for-2 on field goal attempts.

The Arroyo Grande native is now a perfect 6-for-6 on extra-point attempts and 2-for-4 on field goal attempts this season. He has registered 12 of Hancock's 54 points thus far.

Theaker and the rest of the Bulldogs football squad will return to action at home on Saturday, September 18th, against Cerritos College. Tickets for the contest can be purchased by clicking here.
