Heather returns to the Bulldogs this season as the defensive line coach. 

 

Heather earned first-team All-Western State Conference, first-team All-State, and second-team JC Gridwire All-American honors while at Allan Hancock College. He was part of the 8-3 football team under Barney Eames that played in the 1998 Strawberry Bowl. While in a Bulldogs uniform, Heather totaled 65 tackles and eight sacks his sophomore season. He earned academic awards at Hancock in 1997-98 with a 3.25 GPA. He attended Leone High School in Samoa where he was named MVP and scholar-athlete of the year his senior year. 

 

Heather is the father of Hancock graduate and former Bulldog football defensive lineman, Dominic King who signed with Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2019. King totaled 50 tackles, 13 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble in his two seasons with the Bulldogs.
