Hancock, Cuesta, Butte, Bakersfield Advance in Holiday Classic
With a 59-47 win over Rio Hondo College, the Bulldogs advance and will play Butte College at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29. Butte beat Santa Barbara City College 60-54 earlier in the tournament. Also advancing are Cuesta College and Bakersfield College. Cuesta defeated Barstow 64-59 and Bakersfield took a close 65-64 victory over Fresno City College.
Abe Millsap led the Bulldogs in scoring with 26 points against Rio Hondo College and four steals. Taylor Pruett scored 11 points and led the team in rebounds with 13. Gaurd Alex MacNeil scored nine points and Jordan O'Byrne put up eight points.
Hancock is now 11-4 overall and ranked top in the Western State Confernce.
