Men's Basketball Announces Youth Summer Camp Dates, Registration Now Open

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's basketball program has announced the schedule of the 2023 AHC Youth Basketball Summer Camps.

The program will be hosting a series of skills camps throughout the months of June and July before closing the summer with a four-day camp. All camp sessions will be hosted inside of the Joe White Memorial Gymnasium. Participants will receive instruction from current and former AHC men's basketball personnel on several fundamental skills, including shooting, dribbling, ball handling, footwork, defense, rebounding, passing, guard, and post play.

The skill camps will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays and will be open to participants in 4th grade through 8th grade. The Tuesday and Thursday sessions will be held from 6-8 PM while Friday events will take place from 5-7 PM. The summer camp will feature two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, along with a full camp option for a discounted price. The first session is scheduled for 9 AM-12 PM on July 31-August 3, while the second session is set for 12 PM-3 PM from July 31st to August 2nd.
