Men's Basketball: Quincy Bentley Commits to Western Oregon

MONMOUTH, Ore. - Allan Hancock College men's basketball guard, Quincy Bentley, has committed to continue his academic and athletic career next season at Western Oregon University.

"I chose Western Oregon because it just seemed like the right fit for me. I have a lot of ties with some of the people who are already there and it is a program that is catered towards a family-oriented environment," Bentley shared.

Bentley moves on to the next level after spending just one season in a Bulldogs uniform. The sharpshooter out from San Fernando Valley was a First Team All-Conference honoree after boasting a 39.8 shooting percentage from distance at the conclusion of his freshman campaign. The Newbury Park graduate made 5+ shots from long range in six contests and earned 20 starts through 29 appearances.

"My time at AHC helped prepare me for success at the next level in many ways, but more than anything it helped prepare me mentally. Being put in uncomfortable situations on and off the court really helped me grow, not only as a player but also as a person," Bentley added. "I am very thankful for this past year at AHC and I'm excited for what the future has in store for all of us! Everyone eats over here!"

The Wolves are a Division II member of the NCAA and compete in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
