Golf Places 6th at WSC Neutral, 14th in SoCal Preview
VENTURA, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's golf team placed 6th at the Western State Conference No. 6 match and 14th in the Southern California Preview, played simultaneously on Monday at the Olivas Links Golf Course in Ventura.
The Bulldogs posted a team score of 404 on the day. College of the Canyons won the event with a mark of 363, followed by Glendale (381) and Ventura (385). The Cougars also won the SoCal Preview, followed closely by Desert (365), Cypress (367), Saddleback (370), Riverside (371), and Mt. San Antonio (377).
Parker Jones led the way for the AHC squad after shooting a 77 on the day, followed by Jack Wellenkamp's final mark of 79 and an 80 from Troy Fulton. Carson Ferriera and Kenny Randhawa rounded out the scoring performances after shooting an 83 and an 85, respectively.
The Bulldogs are scheduled to resume action on Monday, March 28th, but hosting the next WSC match at the Santa Maria Country Club.
