Golf Lands in Seventh at WSC No. 9

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's golf team continued the season by competing in the Western State Conference No.9 event and the Rig City Invitational, hosted as simultaneous events at the Bakersfield Country Club on Monday afternoon.

The Bulldogs finished in seventh place against WSC foes after shooting 434 on the day. College of the Canyons led the field of eight with a final tally of 380, followed by Ventura (393) and Glendale (395). Parker Jones led the effort with a finish of 80 strokes, followed by Troy Fulton's shot of 81. Carson Ferriera also finished under 90 after turning in a final score of 89 to round out the top AHC performers. 

Hancock is set to return to action on Monday, April 18th, as the host of another WSC competition. The event will take place at the Santa Maria Country Club.
