Golf Earns Best Finish of Season at WSC No. 7

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's golf team continued competition by hosting the WSC No. 7 Meet at the Santa Maria Country Club. The meet was originally set to take place on March 28th before being delayed due to rain. 

The Bulldogs earned a third place finish, their highest finish of the season thus far, after shooting 383 on the day. College of the Canyons won the event with a 370, followed by a 374 mark from Ventura College. Citrus (387) and Glendale (388) rounded out the top five programs with fourth and fifth place finishes, respectively. 

Parker Jones and Troy Fulton led the Hancock squad after shooting 75 on the day, leaving them both tied for 10th place. Jack Wellenkamp and Carson Fererria finished the day by firing two-over 75, while Kenny Randhawa closed the day with a mark of 79. Adam Beck-Arreola rounded out the list of performers for the home squad after posting a final score of 92.

The Bulldogs are set to return to action on Monday, April 25th, in the Western State Conference Championship at the Alisal River Course in Solvang.
