Men's Soccer Falls to Oxnard in Home Showing

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's soccer program fell, 3-1, in a home showing against Oxnard College on Friday evening. | BOX SCORE

The Condors (8-2-4 | 3-0-1 WSC) jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the opening 20 minutes of play before extending the lead to three with a goal in the 58th minute. The lone goal for the Bulldogs (1-11-2 | 0-4-0 WSC) came in the 84th minute off the head of Anthony Morales after a free kick from Landon Smith

Hancock was narrowly outshot in the contest at a 15-13 margin and placed six attempts on frame. Josh Rojas, Bryan Gomez, and Myles Baro led the squad with two attempts each. TJ Vinnedge recorded three saves en route to the loss after 90 minutes in the box.

The Bulldogs are scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, October 26th, with a trip to Moorpark. Action is slated to begin at 4 PM.
