SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's soccer team fell in a physical battle, 7-1, on the road against Santa Barbara City College. | BOX SCORE
The Vaqueros (10-3-3 | 4-1-1 WSC) held a 2-0 advantage at the intermission after a rocky start. Josue Celio put Hancock (2-12-2 | 1-5 WSC) on the board with his fifth goal of the season, but SBCC caught fire with five unanswered goals to close the contest.
Celio led the offensive effort with three attempts in the contest, followed by Bryan Gomez and Juan Montelongo who each registered two. TJ Vinnedge was charged with the loss in the box after collecting five saves and allowing seven goals through 90 minutes of action.
The Bulldogs are set to return to action on Tuesday, November 2nd, with a home contest versus Santa Monica. Action is scheduled to begin at 4 PM on the AHC Soccer Field.
