Bulldogs Shine in Field Events at WSC Relays

Led by freshmen Kendrick Keszler, Jared Springer and Brent Dionisio, the Allan Hancock College men's track and field team earned five Top Four finishes during the Western State Conference Relays hosted by Ventura College on Friday.

Keszler, a Nipomo High School graduate, finished fourth in the men's high jump (6-0.75) and fourth in the triple jump (42-5.25), as well as 11th in the long jump (19-4.75).

Springer, another former Titans star, placed third in the men's shot put (41-0.25), and fourth in the hammer throw (133-8). He also placed 13th in the javeling throw (114-9).

Dionisio finished third in the men's high jump with a top clearance of six feet, three-quarters of an inch. The Pioneer Valley High School graduate also came in 18th in the long jump (18-7.75).

The men's track and field team returns to action on Friday, February 27, at the WSC North Meet at Bakersfield College.
