Women's Basketball Heads into Bulldog Classic With Winning Record

            Heading into the annual Bulldog Classic Tournament Dec. 9-11 at Allan Hancock College, the Bulldogs are 5-4, having defeated Los Angeles Pierce and Bakersfield College at the Cuesta Tournament. The team finished third in the tournament and is ready to take on the teams travelling to Santa Maria for the Bulldog Classic.
This year the Bulldogs will be hosting teams from Cuesta, Saddleback, Barstow, East Los Angeles, San Diego Mesa, Oxnard, and Monterey Peninsula colleges. The tournament begins at 1 p.m. Dec. 9 and the Bulldogs will take on San Diego Mesa in their first tournament game at 7 p.m.
            The Hancock women’s basketball team is also celebrating the holidays by teaming up with the Toys for Tots Foundation of Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties during its annual Bulldog Classic basketball tournament.
Bring an unwrapped toy worth \$10 or more to the Joe White Memorial Gymnasium during the tournament on Dec. 9-11 from 1 to 7 p.m. and receive a tournament pass worth \$15 and good for entry into the entire three-day tournament.
