Milan McGary Headed to La Verne University

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Former women's basketball standout, Milan McGary, will head to La Verne University next season to continue her academic and athletic career at the next level.

McGary spent just one season with Allan Hancock, serving as a critical member of the 2019-20 team, before missing this season due to the pandemic. As a Bulldog, McGary averaged 11.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game with a career-high mark of 29 points. She was the Hancock nominee for the 2020 Northern Santa Barbara County Athletic Round Table Female Athlete of the Year scholarship.  

La Verne, located in Southern California, is a Division III member of the NCAA and competes in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
