Women's Basketball Tops LA Harbor with Balanced Attack

WILMINGTON, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College women's basketball program got back on track with a 67-63 victory on the road at LA Harbor on Friday evening. | BOX SCORE

Four of the five starters for the Bulldogs finished the contest with double-double performances en route to the win, led by an 18-point, 13-rebound showing from Kayla Taylor. Alijah Paquet (13 points, 12 rebounds), Jewelia Maniss (12 points, 10 rebounds), and Jaycie Bayne (11 points, 13 rebounds) rounded out the top Hancock performers. 

As a team, the squad finished the night with a 43.5 percent showing from the field and secured 43 rebounds. The Bulldogs now move to 2-1 on the season while LA Harbor falls to 2-4 overall.

Up next for the Bulldogs is a trip to Palomar College for the Comet Crossover. They are slated to face the hosting Palomar on Friday, November 19th, and will close the weekend with a contest against Mt. San Jacinto on the following day.
