Women's Soccer: Brianna Gaona Commits to Cal State Dominguez Hills

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Allan Hancock College women's soccer midfielder, Brianna Gaona, has committed to continuing her academic and athletic career at California State University Dominguez Hills next season.

"I chose Dominguez Hills because it is a place that I can see myself having the opportunity to develop successfully into the person I envision to become, both on and off the pitch," shared Gaona.

Gaona has completed two seasons on the field in a Bulldogs uniform. The Lompoc native was the lone member of the women's squad to collect First Team All-Conference honors in the fall and represented AHC at the CCCSCA Sophomore Showcase in December. Gaona accumulated eight points this season after registering four assists and two game-winning goals. She was also selected as a Second Team All-Conference honoree as a freshman and has recorded a total of seven assists, four goals, and 15 points throughout her career as a Bulldog.

"My time here at AHC has been a memorable one," Gaona added. "I will forever be thankful for my friends, my coaches, and the faculty here. They all have pushed me to refine my academics, my work ethic, and my character. At the next level, I will continue to contribute many of my successes to the skills that I've developed here at Allan Hancock College."

CSUDH, located in Carson, is a Division II member of the NCAA and competes in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
