Late Goal by Ramirez Leads Bulldogs to 1-0 Win at Moorpark

MOORPARK, Calif. - A late goal from Cynthia Ramirez pushed the Allan Hancock College women's soccer program past Moorpark College in a 1-0 league victory on Tuesday afternoon. | BOX SCORE

The lone tally of the day for the Bulldogs (12-1-5, 7-1-2 WSC), and the 24th of the season for Ramirez, came in the 86th minute after an assist from Emely Graciliano Sanchez. Hancock's defensive unit limited Moorpark (5-9-5, 4-6 WSC) to just five shots on the day while the visitors registered 21 tries of their own.

Maya Mendek earned the start in the box for the AHC squad and collected one save in the opening half. Ally Britt snagged three saves and closed the game as the keeper through the final 45-minute stretch.

The Bulldogs are set to return to action on Tuesday, November 8th, for the final home game of the regular season against Oxnard College. The game will begin at 7 PM at Ernest Righetti High School and will feature a brief Sophomore Night ceremony prior to the start of action.
