Bio

Buddy Kichler enters his seventh overall season with the women's program in 2023. Kichler also spent two seasons as an assistant coach for the men's program in his early years at AHC.

Kichler played soccer for two seasons at Allan Hancock and received the Jim Glines Scholarship Award in 2015. The annual scholarship is awarded to Hancock’s top male and female student-athletes each year.  Following his time with the Bulldogs, Kichler transferred to Cal Poly (SLO) to major in business administration. 

Kichler played for current AHC head coach, Billy Vinnedge, at Nipomo High School where he was a two-time All-League First Team and one-time All-CIF selection with the Titans. He scored 13 goals and had 15 assists in 2011-12 to help NHS capture the program’s first league title. 

Kichler also works for the Mesa Middle School as a math teacher.
