Bio

Vargas was an all-league and all-CIF running back for St. Joseph High School. He rushed for 1,668 yards and 16 touchdowns for the Knights. Vargas also caught 13 passes for another two scores. He rushed for 200 or more yards in four games, including a season-high 235 yards and a school record five rushing touchdowns against Pioneer Valley. He was an all-league defensive back as a junior. The business major plans to work for a financial firm.
