Bio
Sadaunykas returns to Santa Maria after spending two years, one as a redshirt, at University of Minnesota Crookston, a Division II program. He started three of the 23 games that he appeared in for the Golden Eagles, averaging 2 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. He scored a season-high eight points on two occasions. Sadaunykas graduated from St. Joseph High School in Santa Maria. He led the Knights to a 31-4 record and a CIF Division 5-AA championship in 2015-16. He averaged 16.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.1 steals per game as a senior to garner the Pac 8 League’s Most Valuable Player award and All-CIF honors. Winning the CIF championship is his favorite sports memory. Sadaunykas grew up in Vilnius, Lithuania and came to the United States to pursue a college basketball scholarship. He is majoring in kinesiology.
