MEN'S SOCCER SHUT OUT AT L.A. MISSION

VAN NUYS-- The Allan Hancock College men's soccer team suffered its' third straight defeat and fourth in five matches on Friday, 4-0 at L.A. Mission College.

The Western State Conference loss dropped Hancock (5-7-5, 3-4-0 WSC North) below the .500 mark for the first time in league play this season. The game was played as a make-up for a match originally scheduled for Sept. 30 that was postponed due to the Chatsworth Fire.

Mission posted two goals in the first half, two in the second half and was never threatened in the contest. For the Bulldogs, the match produced the largest margin of defeat for what began as a very promising 2005 campaign.

AHC will attempt to right the ship with two home matches in the coming week, versus Citrus on Tuesday (Oct. 25) and the same L.A. Mission squad on Friday (Oct. 28).
