Bio
Gomez was selected as one of the team's three captains this season. He scored 10 goals and finished with a team-high 11 assists to earn All-Conference Second Team honors as a freshman for Hancock in 2016. The Lompoc native scored twice in a 3-2 win over College of the Sequoias, he also scored once and had two assists in a 4-3 loss to Victor Valley. Gomez was a three-time all-league soccer player for Cabrillo High School. He scored 35 goals and had 31 assists his junior and senior seasons combined with the Conquistadores. Scoring a goal from the kickoff and making the opposing goalie cry is his favorite sports memory.
