Men's Soccer Team Falls to Taft 3-0 in Home Opener

The Allan Hancock College men's soccer team fell to Taft College on Sep. 6, in a 3-0 loss in their first home game of the season. 

Taft forward Emmanuel Iniguez scored the unassisted game winning goal in the 33rd minute. The Courgars went on to score two more goals against the Bulldogs in the 34th and 51st minutes.

Midfielder Josue Celio was the Bulldog's lone standout. He created several chances with one shot on goal with three total shots in the game. 

Goalkeeper Maisen Baro had three saves in the game for the Bulldogs. Baro made a sliding save in the second half on a Taft penatly shot to keep the Bulldog's chances alive. 

Hancock outshot Taft 12-10, however Taft had more chances on goal 6-4. 

Hancock is now 1-3 on the season. Their next game is on the road at 2 PM on Tuesday, Sep. 10th when they take on Cabrillo College.
