Nine Men's Soccer Players Earn All-Conference Recognition

Nine Allan Hancock College Men's Soccer players scored All-Western State Conference North recognition. Sophomores Marino Corona, Angel Gonzales, and Niko Glass as well as freshman Bryan Gomez earned spots on the All-WSC North First Team. Sophomore goalkeeper Maisen Baro and freshmen Diego Villagran and JD Montelongo were All-WSC North Second Team picks. Sophomore Sal Andrade and freshman Christian Angulo received honorable mentions.

Gomez tied for eighth in the conference with a team leading seven goals and placed in the top 10 in total points with 16. He boasted the best shooting percentage on the team of players who shot at least four times. 

Glass earned 10 points on the season with four goals and two assists. He earned eight goals and four assists in his career as a team captain at Hancock.

Corona earned six points off of three goals this season. He finishes his career at Hancock with three goals and four assists.

Gonzales was a lock down defender for the Bulldogs this season and earned recognition for his efforts in his two seasons with Allan Hancock College.

Christian Angulo 

Baro finished the season in third place for total saves at 93 and was a big reason for continued success in the backfield. He finished his career at Hancock with 145 saves and three shutouts.

Montelongo was second on the team in total points with 11. He three goals and earned five assists on the season.

Villagran was yet another lock down defender who could come up and play the ball down the field. He earned an assist this season. 

Andrade finishes his career with the Bulldogs as a high quality two-way midfielder that earned two goals and four assists this season. He finishes his Hancock career with five goals and eight assists.

Angulo finished his first season season with two goals and an assist. 

THe Bulldogs finished the season 6-10-6 and 3-2-5 in conference play.
