Late Penalty Kicks Doom Bulldogs in 4-2 Loss at Oxnard

OXNARD, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's soccer program fell on the road against Oxnard College, 4-2, in a conference showing on Friday afternoon. | BOX SCORE

Roman Gutierrez got the Bulldogs (2-8-2, 1-1 WSC) with an early goal in the second minute of play after connecting with a pass from Jesus HinojosaCristian Aparicio used a pass from Sean Soltan to double the cushion in the 21st minute before the Condors (9-1-1, 2-0 WSC) got on the board just six minutes later. Oxnard brought the game to a draw in the 53rd minute before burying a pair of penalty kicks in the 71st and 82n2 minutes to seal the victory.

Oxnard dominated on the offensive end after outshooting AHC at a 15-4 margin. Luis Garcia collected 10 saves after serving 90 minutes in the box for Coach Vinnedge's squad. 

The Bulldogs will continue league action by hosting Santa Barbara City College on Tuesday, October 18th. The match is scheduled to begin at 1:30 PM on the AHC Soccer Field.
