LEMOORE, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's soccer team kicked off the fall campaign with a 3-1 victory in a non-conference matchup at Lemoore College on Tuesday afternoon. | BOX SCORE
Erick Jimenez used a pass from Connor Moreno to put the Bulldogs (1-0) on the board in the first three minutes of action, but the Golden Eagles (0-1) responded with a tally of their own just two minutes later. Jimenez netted the game-winner with an unassisted shot in the 12th minute. Joe Baro rounded out the scoring for both sides after sending a pass from Eddie Garces past the keeper in the 69th.
Freshman goalie, Max Brewster, picked up his first win in the box after collecting two saves through 90-minutes of play.
The Bulldogs are set to continue action on Friday, August 30th, with a trip to Clovis College for another non-conference showing.
