SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's soccer program saw the regular season come to a close with a 1-1 tie against Moorpark College at home on Friday afternoon | BOX SCORE
Prior to the game, the Bulldogs honored a group of four sophomores who competed for the final time in an AHC uniform. The group of honorees included Manny Flores, Joe Baro, Anthony Tamayo, and Erick Jimenez.
Hancock (7-11-3, 2-7-1) struck first with a goal by Baro and an assist from Ace Espinoza in the 9th minute of play, but the visiting Raiders (5-10-4, 1-6-3) answered with a goal of their own in the 62nd.
The hosting squad was outshot at a 14-10 margin, but managed to place seven tries on-goal to MC's five. Max Brewster registered four saves in the box, including a crucial penalty kick attempt in the 31st.
The Bulldogs ended the regular season in fifth place amongst all Western State Conference (North) foes after a 2-7-1 finish in league play.
