Ortega saw action in eight games for the Bulldogs in 2017. She scored four runs and drew two walks at the plate. Ortega collected her first collegiate hit against L.A. Pierce. Winning the conference title last season is her favorite sports memory. She played basketball and softball at Pioneer Valley High School. She is a criminal justice major.
