Bio
Beyers averaged 9.5 points and 4.3 rebounds per game as a freshman for Hancock when the Bulldogs reached the playoffs for the first time in nearly 20 years. She shot 35 percent from 3-point range. Beyers scored 10+ points in 12 games including a career-high 19 points on five 3-pointers against Taft. She was an all-league basketball and softball player at Pioneer Valley High School. A scholar-athlete, Beyers’ favorite sports memory is playing on the first girl’s basketball team in school history to win a league championship. Beyers was named the school’s Female Athlete of the Year. Her father, Tom Beyers, is the hitting coordinator for the Chicago Cubs.
