Bramble Wins 200 Freestyle, Nelson and Bondy Place in Top 5 in Two Events During Hancock's First Conference Meet of the Season
Leanna Bramble won one event and finished runner-up in another, while Bailey Nelson swam to two top four finishes, and Natalie Bondy placed in the top five in two events during the first Western State Conference meet of the season on Friday. The Allan Hancock College women's swim team finished fourth during the five-team meet at College of the Canyons. Hancock finished atop rival Cuesta in the team standings.
Freshman Natalie Bondy finished fifth in the 200 yard individual medley with a time of 2:36.37. She also placed fourth in the 100 yard breaststroke at 1:18.85.
The women return to action on Friday, March 6, at the Cuesta College Invitational.
