Roux returns after a historic freshman year for the Hancock swimming and diving team. The Orcutt Academy graduate became the first Bulldog diver in program history to win a Western State Conference title by taking the 3-meter event. She also finished second in the 1-meter. Roux went on to finish tenth in the 3-meter and ninth in the 1-meter finals during the 2018 California Community College Athletic Association’s Swimming and Diving Championships. During the season, she also set school records in both events with 183.65 points in the 1-meter and 181.65 points in the 3-meter. She is an enology and viticulture major, who wants to own her own winery and be a winemaker. Roux finished third in the CIF Division 4 Championships to help the Spartans finish second overall.
