Men's Soccer To Battle Moorpark Tuesday At Home

The men's soccer team plays one match this week, a Western State Conference game at home against Moorpark on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 3 p.m.  The Bulldogs fell 3-0 at Moorpark last month.

The Bulldogs played two matches last week, but fell 3-2 at home to Santa Monica, and 2-0 at College of the Canyons. Freshman forward Miguel Fregoso (Arroyo Grande HS) scored in the 15^th minute against Santa Monica, and sophomore Adrian Diaz (Cabrillo HS) found the back of the net in the 60^th minute to tie the game 2-2. However, Santa Monica scored the game-winner in the 81^st minute to knock off the Bulldogs.

Diaz and freshman Jorge Guzman (Righetti HS) lead the team with six goals each. Freshman Bernardo Rubio (Cabrillo HS) and Fregoso have three goals apiece for Hancock.

The Bulldogs start the week 2-8-3 in conference and 3-11-4 overall.
