2015-16 Hancock Women's Basketball Headlines

Ramirez led the Bulldogs in scoring at 16.4 points per game.

The Bulldogs snapped a 10-game slide to Cuesta for their first win against the Cougars since 2011.

The event was named in honor of assistant coach Larry Carney, a three-time cancer survivor. Last year, he donated $5,000 to find a cure for cancer in memory of his father and brother, who passed away from the disease.

The Bulldogs trailed by 16 points in the second quarter, but came back to win the conference game behind 17 points from Syenna Ramirez and a career-high 11 from Janessa Hernandez.

Michaila Miller scored 13 points and added eight rebounds, both season-highs, to help Hancock erase an eight-point halftime deficit. Syenna Ramirez added 11 points, while Destinee Garcia recorded her sixth double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Syenna Ramirez recorded a double-double with 14 points and 12 assists to lead a trio of Bulldogs who scored 10 or more points in the victory.
